“Your license for using NCache has expired” exception thrown when NCache is used with windows clustering service. How to solve it?

This exception is generated because your windows clustering service is bound to a virtual name and this virtual name is passed to NCache service, therefore NCache is not able to verify the license on this name as NCache is bound to box’s machine name.

To solve the problem configure your clustering service to run as the node name. By default the service runs as the resource name, switch it to node name to solve the problem.
