NCache coming to TechEd America and TechEd Europe

Alachisoft is delighted to participate in the industry-leading event and even more excited to present NCache, leading distributed cache in the TechEd America and TechEd Europe to be held June 11-14, 2012 in Orlando and June 22-25, 2012 in Amsterdam respectively.

Iqbal Khan, Technology Evangelist at Alachisoft, will be demonstrating to the visitors how NCache reduces expensive database trips resulting in enhanced performance and extended scalability, especially since these qualities are now considered core requirements for a reliable and efficient enterprise application.

The event, hosted by Microsoft, is the leading event for business and IT professionals from all over the world. For more information on the conference visit TechEd America 2012 and TechEd Europe 2012.

Alachisoft sincerely looks forward to seeing its valued customers at the event, as well as meeting new ones. Visit our booth to find out more.

Managing Data Relationships in Distributed Cache

This article explains how you can use Cache Dependency to handle one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many relationships in the cache. It uses NCache as an example but the same concepts apply to ASP.NET Cache.

Although, NCache provides various types of dependencies including Cache Dependency, File Dependency, Sql Dependency, and Custom Dependency, this article only discusses the Cache Dependency for handling relationships among cached items.

NCache Concurrency Controls

Before examining performance, scalability, or advanced architectural features, it is valuable to confirm that the software can be used to construct applications that remain reliable when data is shared and subject to updates.

Tip: How to use Dual NICs for Bandwidth Optimization

If you have two NICs available on a cache server then it is highly recommended that you use both NICs for the NCache communications. One NIC should be dedicated to server-to-server communications inside the cache cluster while the second NIC should be reserved only for client-to-server communication. This way, network load for cache communication would be distributed for efficient utilization of your resources thus increasing overall performance.

For detailed information on configuring dual NICs please visit this link.
