NCache Cloud is a non-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) and available in both Azure and AWS marketplaces for you to buy. When you buy NCache Cloud, you are buying it from Microsoft / Amazon and not from Alachisoft and they bill you for it. This may make it easier for you to get approvals to buy NCache if you already have a budget approved for Azure / AWS. Additionally, NCache sales team works closely with you to prepare a custom quote based on your configuration and then helps you buy NCache Cloud based on this custom quote. NCache Cloud is a non-hosted SaaS offering in Azure / AWS. This means your cache server VMs are deployed inside your own cloud environment (subscription, VNET) and not hosted by Alachisoft. As a result, the prices mentioned below are only for NCache Cloud licenses and VM cost is not included.

NCache Cloud is only available with NCache Enterprise Software in Azure / AWS. If you want to buy NCache Professional Software in Azure / AWS, you can do so on a BYOL model directly from Alachisoft.

Pro-rated Mid-Year Additional Licenses in Annual Subscription

In Annual Subscription, you can buy additional licenses in the middle of your subscription, you’re charged on a half-monthly prorated basis and you pay the same Annual Subscription price. And, whenever you buy additional licenses mid-year, they’re purchased until the end of your annual subscription.

NCache Cloud: Zone Redundancy & Geo-Replication

NCache Enterprise Cloud has a powerful WAN Replication through Bridge Topology feature that is available in Azure / AWS clouds for creating Zone Redundancy within a region or Geo Replication across multiple regions. You can have two or more clustered caches that are identical copies of each other in active-passive and active-active replication through NCache Bridge Topology. Please note that you only pay for NCache Cloud licenses here and not underlying VMs which your cloud provider bills you separately.

NCache Cloud licenses in Azure / AWS are not transferrable across cloud platforms or between cloud and on-premises unless they’re perpetual licenses. This is because you are billed by Azure and AWS through your cloud subscription with them and not by Alachisoft.

NCache Enterprise and NCache Professional are online products only, available free for 60 days with all features and no performance or other limitations. You can use either download from our website to evaluate on-premises or use a preconfigured Azure / AWS cloud marketplace VM image. Upon download or registration, you are given an eval key that you must enter at install time or afterwards in case of cloud VM. This activates NCache for 60 days but you can extend it 30 days at a time and up to 180 days total by contacting sales.

NCache Cloud is purchased directly from Azure / AWS marketplace. Upon purchase you are given a license key When you can obtain the license key, use a pre-configured NCache Enterprise Software VM from Azure / AWS marketplace, and activate it as NCache Cloud yourself. This option gives you total security.

- Both NCache Enterprise and Professional are licensed on annual subscription basis or as perpetual licenses in both client/server and server-only licensing models. Grandfathering option available for existing Enterprise edition customers with perpetual client/server licensing.

-- Service packs to the product for fixing bugs and problems are provided free of charge. However, new releases of the product are not provided free of charge without annual maintenance and support.

* In client/server licensing, a license is multiples of 4-vCPUs. Min licenses per server are required. Same for Unix platform. In server-only licensing, the clients are free and the servers are licensed based on a combination of RAM & vCPUs matching with a plan and where one or more licenses are needed for the matching plan (including minimum licenses per server). In server-only, you purchase licenses (and not servers) and each plan uses a set number of licenses. This allows you to change server-only plans without a new purchase by using your licenses differently.

** Remote Client includes NCache API, and for Enterprise edition also Client Cache (InProc/OutProc). Can access cache clusters remotely. Multiple connections from the same VM / Docker instance is still one client.

*** Dev Workstation & Dev / QA Server includes API and stand-alone local cache. As Dev Workstation, it can access local cache and also remote cache cluster but with performance limitations. And, as Dev / QA Server, it becomes a stand-alone cache server with max 2 remote clients, max 2 GB aggregated cache size, and performance limitations. Local clients are free and not counted.
