Configure Bridge

NOTE: This feature is not available in NCache Express and Professional edition.

NCache Manager provides the facility to change the configuration of Bridge. To change the configuration of a Bridge, click the bridge from 'NCache Management' tree. Bridge Configurations View will appear in the right pane.

Main Settings

Newly created Bridge will appear in NCache Explorer. On clicking the bridge in NCache Explorer, bridge tabbed view will be displayed in right pane. The recommended settings are already set on the page but you can change them according to the requirements.

From Main tab you can set the following attributes:

Bridge Name: It is read only. It specifies a unique name for the bridge.
Bridge Port : Specifies the specific port number on which a bridge listens. Port number must be unique for each bridge which make possible the creation of multiple bridges running on a same node.
Queue Size: Every bridge contains a queue. This value specifies the upper limit for the size of the queue.
Enable Queue Optimization: Enable Queue Optimization will optimize the traffic between the bridge cache and queue to enhance bridge operations.

Target Cache Settings

From Target Cache tab you can set the following attributes:

Bridge Caches : Specifies the name of a cache on which bridge is supposed to replicate the data.
Bulk Operation Size : Specifies the size of the bulk (of operations) which is to be replicated on the target cache.
Replication Delay Interval : It specifies the time interval in seconds between two consecutive operations on target cache.
Connection Retry Interval : It specifies the time interval in seconds between two consecutive connection retries to target cache.

Options Settings

From Options tab you can enable performance counters which are used for monitoring the bridge performance.
