Browsing Domain Users

 
NOTE: This feature is not available in NCache Express and Professional edition.
 
If security is enabled on a cache or node, one has to provide credential information to perform operations on Clusters and Local Caches in NCache Manager. To access secured application or a node you need to perform the following steps:
 
Step 1
 
Select Security option from tool bar and then select Security Credentials to open the Security Credentials screen.
 
 
Step 2
 
  • You are supposed to provide the required credentials on a dialog box.
  • Information given here will be crossed checked with security.ncconf file each time user verification will be required for managerial/application operations.
  • Security parameters travel in the encrypted form.
     
 
  • You can also verify the supplied credentials from the same dialog using "Verify Credentials" button.
  • These credentials are used for browsing the domain.
  • If the credentials are not valid the invalid credentials message will be prompt to the users.
  • The following message will be displayed if the credentials are not already set while browsing domain users.
