Selecting Lists for Caching
To enable caching for a List's output, follow these steps:

Go to the Central Administration page of SharePoint and click on the Application Management tab.

Click on Distributed Caching under StorageEdge Management.

Click on List Caching under Distributed Caching tab.

Enable List Caching by selecting the Enable check box on top.

Specify Cache Name

At the bottom of the page, you will see available Sites. Expand a Site you wish to select Lists of.

Select the Lists you wish to enable caching for.

Click on the Apply button.

On the next page the opens you can configure the Page Adapter. To do so, select the Automatically update compat.browser files option as shown in the figure below.

Note: If List Caching does not start automatically, then:
Check the Alachisoft.StorageEdge.Publishing service is in running state.
Identity should have administrator rights on both local server and SharePoint.

If for some reason the automatic update of compact.browser files does not work, you can manually update these by any of the following methods:
