Plugging EBS in SharePoint
To use External BLOB Storage (EBS), it must be plugged in, here is how to do this:

Go to the "Central Administration" page and click on the "Application Management" tab.

Under "StorageEdge Management", click on "Storage Optimization".

Click on EBS/RBS Configuration under Storage Optimization.

Now click on the "Plug In EBS" button on the right side of the page

On the next page that opens, select "Automatically reset IIS" checkbox and then click the "Plug" button.

It will Plug the EBS in SharePoint.
