Setting minimum Caching Threshold on ViewState

 
You can set minimum caching threshold on ViewState items, to do so follow these steps:
 
  • Go to the Central Administration page of SharePoint and click on Application Management tab.
  • Click on Distributed Caching under StorageEdge Management.
  • Click on Content Optimization under Distributed Caching tab.
  • On the Content Optimization page, enter the Minimum Threshold size for ViewState ((in bytes) in the text box on which caching should occur.
       
     
  • Click on the Apply button.
