Stopping a Cache
To stop a cache or multiple caches on a particular server, NCache provides a Stop-Cache
cmdlet.
Stop-Cache [-Name] [-NoLogo] [-Port] [-Server]
The parameters of this cmdlet and their descriptions are explained below.
Examples
- The following is an example where the cache named demoClusteredCache is stopped on local server.
Stop-Cache –Name demoClusteredCache
- The following command stops multiple caches demoCache and demoClusteredCache on local server.
Stop-Cache demoCache,demoClusteredCache
- The example shown below stops a cache named demoClusteredCache on server node 20.200.20.30 using port number 8250.
Stop-Cache –Name demoClusteredCache –Server 20.200.20.30 -Port 8250
Note: The parameters with an asterisk (*) with their names are the required parameters and the rest are optional.
