Sync Manually Created Environment

While creating an environment, when you choose No to Deploy Servers Now, it means that you have to manually populate that environment by deploying servers in it. The management of that environment is manual too.

In order to convert a manually created environment into an auto created environment, NCache Cloud Service offers synching your environments through NCache Cloud Portal. Synching your manually created and managed environments means that you can now edit and manage the same environment through the NCache Cloud Portal.

Follow these steps to convert a manually created environment into an auto managed environment.

  • The first step is to have a deployment user linked with your subscription. If you have already linked a deployment user, then skip this step otherwise follow the steps mentioned in Configure Deployment User to link a deployment user with your subscription.

Without a deployment user, your environment stays read-only to you.

  • Once you have linked a deployment user, go to Subscription Dashboard.

  • Click on Deployment Environments to go to environments dashboard.

  • Select the environment you want to sync and click on See Details.

  • You will see the following message on the screen:

NCache Cloud Portal Sync Environment to Edit

  • Click on the here in that message to sync your environment.

Doing this will allow you to edit the environment as per your liking and perform management operations on it.

Create New Environment
Edit Environment
Remove Environment
