Export-CacheKeys

This feature is only available in NCache Enterprise and Professional editions.

Export-CacheKeys cmdlet enables the user to view the cache keys of a particular cache on the console. The keys can be filtered on the basis of key filter given.

Export-CacheKeys [-Name] [-KeyCount] [-KeyFilter] [-NoLogo] [-Password] [-UserId]

These properties are explained in detail in the Properties section.

Examples

  • This command displays the keys in the cache named demoCache. It displays the first 1000 keys or less since the default key count to be displayed is 1000.
Export-CacheKeys -Name demoCache
  • This command displays any 200 keys present in the cache.
Export-CacheKeys -Name demoCache –KeyCount 200
  • This command displays 200 keys present in the cache with 11 as a substring in the key values.
Export-CacheKeys demoCache –KeyCount 200 –KeyFilter 11

Properties

Note: The parameters with asterisk (*) on their names are the required parameters and the rest are optional.

-Name* <String> Specifies the name of the cache for which the keys need to be displayed. -
-KeyCount <Long> Specifies the number of keys the user intends to be displayed at the particular instance. 1000
-KeyFilter <String> On specifying this parameter the user gets the filtered keys which contain the key filter as the substring. -
-UserId <String> Specifies the User Id used to authorize a user if security is enabled on cache server. This User Id must be the same as the active directory user credentials. -
-Password <String> Specifies the password against the user Id; to authorize a user if security is enabled on cache server. This password must be the same as active directory password. -
-NoLogo <SwitchParameter> Suppresses display of the logo banner. False
