Start-Bridge

This feature is only available in NCache Enterprise edition.

Start-Bridge cmdlet starts a specified bridge on the server.

Start-Bridge [-BridgeId] [-NoLogo] [-Password] [-Port] [-Server] [-UserId]

These properties are explained in detail in the Properties section.

Examples

  • This command starts bridge demoBridge existing on local server, using port 8260 by default.
Start-Bridge –BridgeId demoBridge
  • This command starts bridge demoBridge existing on 20.200.20.11, using port 8261.
Start-Bridge –BridgeId demoBridge –Server 20.200.20.11 –Port 8261

Properties

Note: The parameters with asterisk (*) on their names are the required parameters and the rest are optional.

-BridgeId* <String> Specifies name(s) of one or more bridge(s) to be started which are registered on the server. -
-Server <String> The server name/IP on which the NCache bridge service is running. IP of the local machine
-Port <Integer> The port on which NCache Bridge is listening. 8260
-UserId <String> Specifies the user Id that is used to authorize the user if security is enabled on the cache server. This UserId must be same as the active directory user credentials. -
-Password <String> Specifies the password for user authorization if security is enabled on cache server. This password must be the same as active directory password. -
-NoLogo <SwitchParameter> Suppresses display of the logo banner. -
