Windows Event Logging

NCache provides support to view events in the Windows Event Log. NCache logs important events in Windows Event Logs. This allows monitoring all such events through Windows Event Viewer or with any other tool that supports the Windows Event Logger.

Some of the events that are logged include:

All NCache installation events. These events are combination of successful or aborted installation.
All errors encountered by NCache, Bridge, and Memcached services.
Service start and stop events.
Cache start and stop.
Cache server joining or leaving a cache cluster.
Cache size going above a configurable 80% threshold.
