Pre-recorded Webcast:
Scaling up ASP.NET with
Distributed
Sessions
By Iqbal Khan
Handling
ASP.NET sessions
in a web farm is
a challenge for
most people.
InProc and
StateServer
modes can lead
to session data
loss in a web
farm. And,
SQLServer mode
has performance
and scalability
issues.
A good
alternative for
you is to store
your ASP.NET
sessions in a
distributed
cache.
Applications use
distributed
cache because it
is faster and
more scalable
than database
server. So, why
not use the same
distributed
cache for your
ASP.NET sessions
a well.
