Start-Cache
This PowerShell Cmdlet enables the user to start the registered cache. If the server nodes are specified, the cache process is started on the mentioned nodes when using this PowerShell Cmdlet. Multiple caches can also be started on specified server.
Note
This feature is also available in NCache Professional and NCache Open Source, please keep in mind that NCache Open Source has different parameters in some Cmdlet instances.
Start-Cache [-Name] [-Server] [-Port] [-Credentials] [-NoLogo]
Examples of Start-Cache
- This command starts the cache named demoCache on local server.
Start-Cache –Name demoCache
- This command starts cache named demoCache existing on server 20.200.20.11.
Start-Cache -Name demoCache -Server 20.200.20.11
- This command uses port and starts cache named demoCache existing on server 20.200.20.11.
Start-Cache -Name demoCache -Server 20.200.20.11 -Port 8250
- This command starts cache named demoCache existing on servers 20.200.20.11 and 20.200.20.12.
Start-Cache -Name demoCache -Server "20.200.20.11,20.200.20.12"

The parameters with asterisk (*) on their names are the required parameters and the rest are optional.
