Event Notifications via Email
NCache provides email notifications for important cache and cluster events, allowing administrators to stay informed about cache activity and operational health. These alerts help you monitor events such as cache start and stop, server nodes joining or leaving the cluster, state transfer activity, and cache size threshold warnings.
You can choose the events for which you want to receive email alerts and configure the required notification settings through the NCache Management Center. These notifications are useful for maintaining high availability, identifying critical events, and responding to cache or cluster issues in time.
Configure email alerts for events such as:
- Cache started or stopped.
- Cache server joining or leaving the cluster.
- Cache state transfer started or completed.
- Cache size exceeding the configurable threshold.
Test Email Alert Notifications
To verify that email alerts are working correctly:
Configure Email Notifications for a cache using the NCache Management Center.
Stop the cache for which email alerts are configured.
Check the configured email address. You should receive an email notification from NCache with details of the cache event.
