Constructor Expiration

Expiration(ExpirationType, TimeSpan)

Instantiates Expiration to provide expiration values for items in the cache.

Declaration
public Expiration(ExpirationType expirationType, TimeSpan expireAfter = default(TimeSpan))
Parameters
Type Name Description
ExpirationType expirationType

A flag indicating type of expiration to be used while expiring items in cache.

System.TimeSpan expireAfter

The value of time in the form of System.TimeSpan that shows after how much time, the item in the cache is to be expired.

Examples

This example demonstrates how to create an instance of Expiration with sliding expiration of 5 minutes.

Expiration slidingExpiration = new Expiration(ExpirationType.Sliding, TimeSpan.FromMinutes(5));
