Remove-BackingSource
This PowerShell cmdlet removes the pre-configured backing source providers (Read-through or Write-through) from the cache.
Remove-BackingSource [-CacheName] [-NoLogo] [-Port] -ProviderName [-ReadThru] [-Server] [-Credentials] [-WriteThru]

Important
Please note that either the ReadThru or WriteThru parameter must be specified when using this cmdlet.
- This command removes the pre-configured Read-through provider named MyReader from demoCache.
Remove-BackingSource -CacheName demoCache -ProviderName MyReader –ReadThru
- This command removes the pre-configured Write-through provider named MyWriter from demoCache.
Remove-BackingSource -CacheName demoCache -ProviderName MyWriter –WriteThru
- This command removes the pre-configured Write-through provider named MyWriter from demoCache existing on server 20.200.20.11.
Remove-BackingSource -CacheName demoCache -ProviderName MyWriter –WriteThru –Server 20.200.20.11
- This command removes the pre-configured Read-through provider named MyReader from demoCache using security credentials.
Remove-BackingSource -CacheName demoCache -ProviderName MyReader –ReadThru -Credentials(Get-Credential john_smith)
