Remove-CompactType [Deprecated]

This PowerShell cmdlet enables the users to remove the objects which are already defined as serializable.

Remove-CompactType -CacheName -Class [-Port] [-Server] [-Credentials] [-NoLogo]

Examples

This command removes the compact serializable class Customer from the cache configuration of a cache named demoCache.

Remove-CompactType -CacheName demoCache -Class Data.Customer

This command removes the compact serializable class Customer from the cache configuration of a cache named demoCache on server node 20.200.20.11.

Remove-CompactType -CacheName demoCache -Class Data.Customer –Server 20.200.20.11

The parameters with asterisk (*) on their names are the required parameters and the rest are optional.

remove-compacttype -cachename -class [-port] [-server] [-userid] [-password] [-nologo]

This command removes the compact serializable class Customer from the cache configuration of a cache named demoCache.

remove-compacttype -cachename demoCache -class Data.Customer

This command removes the compact serializable class Customer from the cache configuration of a cache named demoCache on server node 20.200.20.11.

remove-compacttype -cachename demoCache -class Data.Customer -server 20.200.20.11
