Bridge Counters
To monitor the performance and health of the Bridge for WAN replication, NCache provides a set of performance counters that can be accessed through the PerfMon tool and NCache Monitor. These counters help you observe replication activity and Bridge behavior in real time, including operation throughput, queue usage, replication latency, and state transfer activity. Monitoring these metrics allows administrators to identify replication delays, queue pressure, network bottlenecks, or slow state transfers, and to ensure that WAN replication is functioning as expected.
These counters include:
| Counter | Description |
|---|---|
Average us/Bridge Operation |
Average time in microseconds taken to complete the Bridge operation. |
Bridge Cache Count |
Number of Bridge cache items. |
Bridge Cache Size |
Size of the Bridge cache in bytes. |
Operations Received |
Total number of operations received by the Bridge from the source cache. |
Operations Received/sec |
Number of operations received by the Bridge from the source cache per second. |
Operations Sent |
Number of operations sent by the Bridge to the target cache. |
Operations Sent/sec |
Number of operations sent by the Bridge to the target cache per second. |
Queue Count |
Number of items in the Bridge Queue. |
Replicator Queue Count |
Bridge to target cache replicator's virtual queue count. |
Replicator Queue Size |
Bridge to target cache replicator's virtual queue size in bytes. |
State Transfer/sec |
Total number of operations performed during state transfer per second. |
