Troubleshoot NCache Management Center
This page explains how to troubleshoot NCache Management Center connectivity issues with the NCache Service.
NCache Management Center Unable to Connect with NCache Service
The NCache Management Center may be unable to connect with the NCache Service. The following error can occur in this case:
Error: "The NCache Management Center is unable to connect with the NCache Service"
This issue can occur if the system firewall is blocking the Service port. The default Service port is 8250.
Note
Check your firewall settings using the details in our getting started guide.
Workaround
Ensure that your system firewall is not blocking the Service port.
Unblock the Service port from the system firewall. The default Service port is 8250.
After unblocking the Service port, launch the NCache Management Center by browsing to http://localhost:8251 or
http://<server-ip>:8251.
